Beautiful Beach Wedding Locations!

Looking for beach wedding locations? Here are a few places for you to look into in the United States!

* Lake Michigan, Michigan : There are many beach towns around Lake Michigan in the state of Michigan where you can hold a wedding. Union Pier, MI holds a special place in my heart, but there are plenty of others to choose from. If you prefer lakes and dunes to ocean beaches, then a Lake Michigan wedding might be for you!

* Hilton Head Island, South Carolina : With pristine sands, sparkling beaches, and a lighthouse, this could be the perfect location for your wedding. To help you plan your wedding on Hilton Head Island, let Hilton Head Wonderland be your wedding guide! If you have kids or want this to be a big family event, it is also known as one of the most family friendly destinations in the world and one of the top ten family beaches. A photographer to check out if you head here is Island Photo Place, a Photographic Business specializing in beachphotography, family portraits, weddings, pets, models and corporate events on and around HiltonHead Island, SC.

* Carmel, CA and Big Sur, CA: These two places are relatively close to one another and set on picturesque, rugged, amazing California coast line. A note on Carmel - supposedly if your party is less than 50 people and you don't mind just wandering onto the beach for the ceremony and keeping it intimate - you can hold the wedding spontaneously! And, Carmel is known for catering to dogs - the whole town is very dog friendly if you are thinking of having your dog in the wedding!

St. Petersburg Beach/Clearwater, Florida : Although practically all of Florida is a great beach wedding destination, this city is my favorite. It's located on Florida's gulf side and it is a relaxed and beautiful Florida beach. As a note, the Don Cesar Beach resort, which I fondly call the "pink palace" is a beautiful hotel for a wedding in St. Pete's beach.

* Hawaii: When people think destination weddings: beach weddings - Hawaii is one of the first to come to mind. It's tropical and beautiful and known for it. With Hawaii, you need to start with the question - which island? Each island has it's own distinct flavor, so depending on the type of wedding you're looking for choose accordingly. Are you thinking the Big Island? Maui? Oahu? One of the others? As a note - Maui is the big honeymoon destination.

* San Diego, CA : San Diego is known for it's beauty and perfect weather. It's way more relaxed than Los Angeles and a perfect place for your beach wedding location. There are numerous beachside resorts, as well as the famous, historic, and gorgeous Hotel Del Coronado.

* Cannon Beach, Oregon : Think lush green Oregon beaches and you have Cannon beach! Distinctive Haystack Rock is its most famous attraction. There are picturesque views of the beach below from the cliffs of Ecola State Park nearby.
