1. WHO GETS THE CENTERPIECE? Toward the end of the shower, ask all the guests to look under their coffee cup saucer for a penny. The person who finds it at each table, gets the centerpiece! 2. PIN GAME As each guest arrives, give them a pin (clothespin, safety pin - you can even bead them like friendship pins!) to pin on their clothes. The game begins! The rules are this - If someone hears someone else say the word "bride," they can take her pin. The person with the most pins at the end, wins a prize!!!! (Note on creative and cheap prizes at the bottom) 3. ADVICE Have everyone write down one piece of advice for the bride - it can be anything, like: how to have a happy marriage, cooking tips, etc. Save it and put it into a book for the bride!!!! 4. RECIPES NEEDED! Have everyone coming to the shower bring their favorite recipe for the bride! Put them in a book for the bride to use as her first married cookbook! You can make a note of this in the invitation. 5. HOW WELL DO YOU KNOW THE BRIDE? Make a list of 10 questions, such as: What is the bride's - favorite color? favorite movie? first job? How did she meet the groom? etc. Now, you can go about this two ways - you can have the guests write the answers down on a piece of paper and award a prize to the person who answers the most correctly OR you can just have the guests yell the answers out loud and give guests mini-prizes.
