Wedding Gift Registry - Ideas For You!

Wedding gift registry can seem daunting, but it can be tons of fun! You're going looking for hope-to-get gifts for your new married life after all! And, did I mention it's shopping?!?!!?! It's by definition fun! You are creating your wonderful new life! So, where should you start?

WEDDING REGISTRY - CHOOSE YOUR STORES!

First, you'll need to decide which stores you'd like to get gifts from. Make sure you:

* Think about the quality and types of items you and your fiance might want in your lives as every day items.

* Also think about what your guests might be able to afford, as you choose the stores. Keep in mind that even at more expensive stores, there will be a wide range of prices.

TIPS FOR THE ACTUAL REGISTERING:

* Make sure you sign up early! You don't want a closet full of never-to-be-used items because your guests couldn't find your registry!

* Bridal gift registry is something that you and your fiance should do together. After all, you are building a life with one another. What better way to start, than by picking out the every day items that will be in your life for years to come!

* Keep in mind that MOST of the items on your registry should be things you are going to use. I know that I have been to countless bridal showers where I have been shocked at the amount of vases and/or picture frames the bride has received. How about some plates and flatware? Cooking utensils and pots and pans? Towels? Linens? Make sure you register for the every day items!!!! Otherwise, you will be buying them for yourselves.

* Also, make sure that you add items in a variety of price ranges, so that your guests are able to buy you something that they can afford.

* And, most importantly, don't forget to send your Thank You Notes after the gifts are received!
